Greetings and Happy New Year!
We hope that you attended and enjoyed our 2024 show.
We started working on our 2025 show about a week after the show was over. With the wonderful weather and the perfect temperature, we had a very successful show so hopefully, it will carry along for this year. First of all and foremost, we would like to say “Thank You” for your continued membership and support. Memberships are a huge part of our organization and you are greatly appreciated. Please mark your calendars as our 2025 show dates will be Thursday, July 17 through Sunday, July 20, 2025.
We are proud to announce that our feature this year will be Massey Harris – Massey Ferguson and we are fortunate to share that this will be a state show.
Join us at our annual Appreciation Breakfast which will be held at the Der Dutchman on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Doors will open at 8:30 am with a buffet at 9:00 am, however, please do not arrive prior to 8:00 am. The cost is $15.00 and children under 12 will be $10. If you plan to attend, you must RSVP by February 15, to me by phone (937-349-1102) or email (mvstasecretary@gmail.com). You may also mail a check by February 16, to Miami Valley Steam Threshers (MVSTA), PO Box 364, Plain City, OH 43064.
Each year our show continues to grow with more food vendors, flea market vendors as well as attendees. Growing pains are great however, safety is our first priority and with that being said, we need to make some changes. We understand that it is an inconvenience to some people and we apologize in advance. Food and flea market vendors will notice some changes with our contract, so please read thoroughly prior to signing. One of the significant changes will be the parking/vendor passes. Each vendor will receive 1 parking pass and 1 vendor pass. Your membership will give you 2 wristbands.
The 2025 Memberships are now available for purchase. The membership fee is $25 and you will receive 2 wristbands for our 4-day show. Memberships can be purchased at the Appreciation Breakfast, and via mail (PO Box 364, Plain City, OH 43064) or purchased on the grounds starting on Tuesday, July 15. This is the same cost as last year.
Any motorized vehicles on the grounds will need to be registered at a daily rate of $10 or $20 for the week. Proof of insurance will be needed prior to receiving the sticker/band. Please see our Golf Cart policy which is attached – this is new so make yourself aware of the changes.
Also, mark your calendar to attend the 76th Annual Membership Picnic at the Plain City Pastime Park on Sunday, June 8. Lunch will start at 1:00 pm and we will be providing hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks. This will be at the north entrance of the park.
Please continue to check our website (www.mvsteamshow.com) for updates and schedule changes if needed. Last but not least, our show expenses have increased by great margins. To combat our costs, we are looking for sponsorships from businesses as well as private individuals. Our sponsors are well recognized during the show, and several options are available to customize something for our members and businesses. Please let us know if you would like to help support the show. We go to extremes to maximize your generosity.
